C-Max - Polymer additive

C-MAX is a new generation Polymer additive, which has a property of making the Cement Expandable. The doses recommended are between 0.6 % to 1.2 %. But, best results are obtained at 1 % addition rate i.e. 500 grams per bag of cement.

C-Max is used with various Concrete Combinations depending on the type of problems that need curing. Some examples are:

    » Mix with Cement Toughcrete mixture for water proofing
    » Mix with Cement Saltpeter mixture for restricting Saltpeter rise and spread
    » Mix with Cement Blackcoat Ecotouch mixture for atmospheric corrosion prevention

Surface preparation is the most important step before application of this coating. Apply first coat of BLACK COAT. (No dilution is recommended with any solvent).

However, recommended dilutant is xylene or toluene. Give second coat of BLACK COAT after the first coat is dried. After drying the second coat, apply one coat of TOPCOAT-BLACK (coverage area - 100 sq.ft per litre). If any cracks appear, then use SRL's cloth bandage system for complete sealing of the cracks. If you need cool home in summers and heat radiation effect, then apply one coat or two coats of White Knight on TOPCOAT BLACK.
