Fire Resistant Coating Carbobond - 2000

Fire resistant Carbobond 2000 is a specially developed Silicon, Alumina base compound in thick paste form

Usage

This is applied either as Plaster of Paris and may be slightly diluted with water. The paste is brushed in thick form on the structural steel or concrete.

How it works

In case of fire, the coating converts in to foam, which works as an insulating layer in fire and it does not allow the temperature to move up to the metal and there is no deformation or development of stresses in the steel. Insulation effect is so good that, even after heating this foam for one hour, you can touch this with your bare hands.

Specific Gravity - 1.3 to 1.6
Suitable Thinner - Water
